Who are we?

This app and its portal are developed and published by droDUdo holding B.V. (Dutch Chamber of Commerce no. 51150956), Mariënhof 32, 4133 BS Vianen, the Netherlands. The app is used for Van der Valk Plaza Bonaire Marina in Bonaire.

What data do we process?

Depending on your role:

• All users: name, email address and phone number; your login credentials (passwords are stored encrypted and are not readable by us).
• Club members: date of birth, boating licence and identity document (where required to operate a vessel), membership and contract, reservations, clock-in/out times, engine hours, fuel balance and points.
• Berth holders: address details, berth and contract details, vessel details (name, registration, length), proof of insurance, invoices and payment status.
• Photos: photos you take or upload — of your vessel, of damage or defects, and when clocking in/out. These can be viewed by marina staff.
• Technical: data required to operate the app (session, error reports). We use no advertising or tracking cookies and do not track you across other websites or apps.

We do not collect location data and do not access your phone contacts.

Why do we use them?

• To manage your account and marina access (including the access QR code at the gate).
• To handle reservations, contracts and invoices.
• To process payments.
• To handle maintenance, damage and service requests.
• To comply with our legal and administrative obligations.

Legal basis: performance of your contract with us, compliance with legal obligations, and our legitimate interest in a safe marina.

Who do we share them with?

Only with parties needed to deliver the service:

• Supabase — database and file hosting (EU).
• Vercel — app hosting.
• Adyen — payment processing. We do not store card details ourselves.
• Resend — sending emails (such as invoices and account emails).
• Bókun — charter bookings, where applicable.

We never sell your data and do not use it for advertising.

How long do we keep them?

For as long as you have a membership, berth or account with us. After that we delete your data, except what we are legally required to keep — invoices and accounting records are kept for seven years.

Your rights

You may access, correct, delete or export your data, and object to processing. You can change much of it yourself in the app. For anything else: email us — we respond within 30 days.

Delete your account: email marina@bonaire.valk.com or ask the harbour master. We will delete your account and personal data, except records we are legally required to retain.

Unhappy with how we handle your data? You can lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens) or the supervisory authority in your country.

Security

All connections are encrypted (HTTPS). Data is segregated per user: you only see your own contract, invoices and photos. Marina staff only see what they need for their work.
